Objective
Remove all 28 cards from the pyramid by making pairs that add up to 13.
How To Play Pyramid Solitaire
- Select cards: Click on uncovered pyramid cards or the waste pile card
- Make pairs: Select two cards that add to 13 (or a King alone)
- Auto-remove: Valid pairs are removed automatically
- Draw cards: Click the draw pile to flip cards to the waste
- Win: Remove all pyramid cards!
Card Values
- Ace = 1
- 2-10 = Face value
- Jack = 11
- Queen = 12
- King = 13
Valid Pairs (Must Add to 13)
- A + Q
- 2 + J
- 3 + 10
- 4 + 9
- 5 + 8
- 6 + 7
- K (alone)
Rules
- Uncovered cards: Can only select cards that aren't covered by other cards
- Waste pile: Only the top card is available
- Draw pile: Click to draw one card at a time
- Recycling: Can cycle through the deck 3 times total
Deck Cycling
When the draw pile is empty, you can recycle the waste pile back to the draw pile. You get 3 total passes through the deck.
Setup
- Pyramid: 28 cards in 7 rows (all face-up)
- Draw Pile: 24 remaining cards (face-down)
- Waste Pile: Cards drawn from the draw pile
Strategy
- Remove Kings early - they don't need pairing
- Uncover buried cards - focus on revealing hidden cards
- Plan ahead - think about which cards you'll uncover
- Use the draw pile - don't give up if pyramid moves run out
- Save recycling - use your deck cycles wisely
