Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 5 October 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or play games on CheeryChimp.com.
Core Privacy Principle
At CheeryChimp.com, we prioritize your privacy. You do not need to register or give us any personal information—such as your name, email address, or phone number—to play our games. We believe in providing a fun, accessible gaming experience without the need for an account.
If you would like your progress to follow you from one device to another, you can choose to sign in with a Google account. That is the only time we learn who you are, and what we keep is limited to your email address and the progress your games save. The details are below.
Optional Accounts
Signing in is optional. Every game works without it, and your progress is then saved only on the device you are playing on.
What We Receive From Google
When you sign in, Google tells us two things about your Google account:
- Your email address.
- An ID number that Google uses to identify the account.
That is all we ask Google for. We never see your Google password, and we do not ask for or keep your name, your profile picture, your contacts, or anything else from your Google account.
What We Keep
For an account, we keep:
- The email address and the Google ID number described above.
- The date the account was first used on CheeryChimp.com, the date it was last used, and, if you have used “Sign out everywhere”, when you last did.
- The account's standing: whether it is in good standing or has been suspended.
- What your games save so that it can be synced between your devices: scores, progress, games in progress, statistics, and game settings.
How We Use It
- To sign you in and to show you which account is signed in.
- To keep your game progress and deliver it to the other devices you sign in on.
We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising, we do not share it with our advertising or analytics partners, and we do not use your email address to send you newsletters or marketing.
Where It Is Kept
Account information and synced game progress are kept on our server and in a database hosted for us by Google Cloud. Google Cloud stores the information on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
How Long We Keep It
- Until you delete it. You can delete what a single game has saved, or your whole account, at any time (see “Your Choices and Rights”).
- An account that has not been used for six months is deleted automatically, together with everything saved in it.
When an account is deleted, your email address and all of its synced game progress are removed. For up to 30 days afterwards we keep a record that holds only Google's ID number for the account and the date it was deleted. It exists so that another device that is still signed in cannot bring the deleted account back, and it is then removed as well.
Information Saved on Your Device
Whether or not you are signed in, our games and the Website save information in your browser's storage on your own device. This includes game progress and scores, settings such as sound and dark mode, and the list of games you played recently.
This information stays on your device. It is sent to us only if you are signed in and the game you are playing syncs its progress to your account, as described above. You can see what is saved on your device, and delete it, on the Storage page, or by clearing the site data in your browser.
Information We Collect Automatically
While we do not ask for personal details, we do use standard industry tools that collect certain technical information automatically.
Log Files
CheeryChimp.com follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes:
- Internet protocol (IP) addresses.
- Browser type and Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Date and time stamps.
- Referring/exit pages and potentially the number of clicks.
These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, CheeryChimp.com uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
If you sign in, we also set a cookie that keeps you signed in. It lasts for up to 30 days, is renewed while you keep visiting, and is removed when you sign out. Two short-lived cookies are used while you are being signed in and are removed as soon as that is finished. These cookies are needed for signing in to work and are not used for advertising.
Third-Party Partners
We work with third-party partners to support our site through advertising and analytics.
Advertising Partners
Some of the advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners include:
- Google AdSense: Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to CheeryChimp.com and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy.
Analytics Partners
- Google Analytics: We use analytics to understand how our visitors interact with the site so we can improve the gaming experience.
These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on CheeryChimp.com, which are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.
Note that CheeryChimp.com has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
Sign-In and Hosting
- Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in, the sign-in itself takes place at Google, and Google knows that you signed in to CheeryChimp.com. Google's own Privacy Policy applies to what it does with that.
- Google Cloud: Hosts the database that holds account information and synced game progress, as described under “Optional Accounts”.
Your Choices and Rights
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites. If you disable cookies you will not be able to sign in; the games will still work.
If you have an account, you can do the following yourself at any time:
- See which account is signed in, and sign out, on your Dashboard.
- Sign out on every device at once, for example if a device is lost.
- See what each game has saved to your account, download a copy of all of it, and delete it game by game or all together, on the Storage page.
- Delete your account and everything synced to it. This cannot be undone. Games saved on your own devices stay on them until you delete them there.
You can also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it.
Security
Information travels between your device and CheeryChimp.com over an encrypted connection, and account information can be reached only by the account it belongs to and by the people who run the Website. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep as little about you as we can so that there is little to lose.
Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
CheeryChimp.com does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. Accounts are for people aged 13 and over; anyone younger is welcome to play without signing in. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, or has signed in with an account, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date at the top.
