Cheery Chimp

A board of numbered blocks and a target number. Trace a path through touching blocks that hits the target exactly, and they burst — new blocks rain in from above to take their place.

Making a chain

• Drag across blocks to build a chain, and let go to submit it.

• Or tap blocks one at a time, then tap the last block again to submit.

• blocks must touch — sideways, up and down, or diagonally.

• Each block can only be used once per chain.

• Tap a block earlier in your chain to rewind back to it. Tap a block that isn't touching your chain to clear and start over.

Get it right and the blocks burst. Get it wrong and the board shakes, the mistake is logged, and your combo resets — so count before you submit.

Sums and products

Sum

Chain blocks whose values add up to the target. Later levels set a minimum chain length — a 4-block level won't accept a 3-block chain.

Product

Pick exactly two touching blocks whose values multiply to the target.

Mixed

Both are available. Use the toggle above the board to switch — you get a fresh target each time you do.

Scoring and combos

• Clear correctly two or more times in a row and a combo multiplier builds: ×2, ×3, and up. One wrong answer knocks it back to zero.

• Sums score target × chain length × combo — so longer chains are worth far more, even for the same target.

• Products score product × combo. Hunt the big products.

Stars

Every level lists three objectives. Each one you meet is worth one star.

The first objective ends the level the moment you meet it. The other two have to be earned along the way — so if a level wants five chains and a six-block chain, build the long one before you finish your fifth. Missed a star? Replay the level; your best result is the one that's kept.

Good to know

• If the board ever runs out of legal moves, it reshuffles itself. You can't get stuck.

• Progress saves automatically — close it mid-level and pick up right where you left off.

• The Mastery Report tracks stars, best scores and skills by phase, and prints out cleanly for a teacher or parent.
