Drop a line, fill your log.

• Cast to drop your hook. It sinks safely — drag left or right to line up your targets on the way down.

• Reel up to fish. As the hook rises it grabs everything it touches, until it's full — the dots up top are how many you can carry.

• Bank at the surface to keep your catch. But mind the junk drifting past — bottles, tires, boots. Snag one on the way up and the whole haul is lost.

• Fish ride the current, so aim ahead of them. Some are fussy about how they're caught — check the Log for where each one lives and how to land it.

• Log enough species and the water's guardian rises. Haul it up piece by piece to unlock the next depth.

• Fish from the river down to the deep sea, and log every last species to become a Master Angler.
